SHIP8 Priorities Committee

Background information:
The Priorities Committee operates as an advisory body to the eight Clinical Commissioning Groups(CCGs) across Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Portsmouth (SHIP). Its role is to provide them with evidence based, carefully considered recommendations to inform the commissioning policies of the constitute Clinical Commissioning Groups.

Clinical policies recommended by the SHIP Priorities Committee between 2008 and 2012 can be referenced here SHIP & HIOW Policy Recommendations – April 2008 to March 2012 but should be treated as an archive only. Many of these policies will relate to specialised services and would have been superseded by NHS England’s national policies, others by NICE Technology Appraisal Guidance.
